About Abbie
Abbie joined Berry Smith in 2016 and is an associate solicitor in our corporate and commercial teams. Abbie works with clients across the Transaction and Business Services Team on a variety of commercial and corporate work.
She regularly advises on a range of transactions including acquisitions, disposals and restructuring projects, as well as providing general advice in relation to corporate governance affairs, shareholder agreements and employee incentive schemes. In addition to her role in corporate transactions, Abbie specialises in supply agreements, terms and conditions, intellectual property exploitation and commercial contracts. As part of her role across the teams, Abbie is also able to assist clients with due diligence exercises as part of wider transactions.

- Advising a national charity client on a 6 year IT and software development and installation agreement;
- Acting for BBI Solutions Group on their day to day contract matters including global supply chain, distribution and contract manufacture matters;
- Working as part of a team of lawyers advising on a group restructure project;
- Advising a South Wales based pharmaceutical and innovation partner on securing £4million funding;
- Regularly drafting and advising on the assignment and licencing of intellectual property rights across several sectors;
- Advising on the implementation of employee share schemes.
