The impact of the Covid-19 crisis on many businesses is unprecedented and far-reaching. Whilst many businesses are unable to predict the long-term impact with certainty, there is no doubt that they need to ensure that they are in the best possible position to survive long-term. This has led to many employers wanting to know their options when it comes to their staff, including their ability to utilise the Government’s Furlough Scheme and, in the next phase, to understand their options post-furlough so they can plan for the medium / long term, especially if there is a need to reduce costs.
The session will offer practical guidance on:
- How to furlough employees correctly
- Q and A session dealing with the most frequently asked questions around furlough leave
- Post-furlough planning
