This week, Berry Smith’s corporate team is once again celebrating the success of being shortlisted for the Wales Dealmakers Awards.
The Wales Dealmakers Awards 2024 will be held at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff on the 26th September 2024. The evening will bring together corporate lawyers, finance advisers and funders to celebrate a successful year for the corporate finance scene in Wales and shine the spotlight on the many lucrative deals seen over the past year, as well as those who have contributed to this success.
This year, the team is pleased to have once again been shortlisted for the ‘Corporate Law Firm of the Year’ category. This nomination recognises the commitment and high quality service offered by the corporate finance team and demonstrates Berry Smith’s position as a leading Corporate Finance adviser in Wales.
In addition to this, Berry Smith are also delighted that corporate partner Emma Borrington, has been nominated for ‘Dealmaker of the Year’ in recognition of her contribution to numerous successful deals over the financial year.
The corporate team enjoyed a very successful 2023-2024, working on a diverse range of complex deals and alongside some of the top corporate funders and financial advisers in Wales. This includes advising Cardo Group Limited on its acquisition of A&N Lewis Limited, working with the shareholders of Hotset UK Limited on their sale to German-owned Hotset GmbH and advising Huw Jenkins OBE on his majority takeover of Newport County AFC.
