Berry Smith are delighted to have advised valued client, Cardo Group Limited through another acquisition process following on from their acquisition hat-trick last year.
South Wales based A&N Lewis was founded over 30 years ago and are Cardo Group’s latest acquisition in the construction industry due to their strong shared values. The acquisition will bolster Cardo’s nationwide operations in the social housing repair and maintenance fields focusing on compliance, retrofit and decarbonisation needs.
Berry Smith worked closely with CEO Liam Bevan, CFO Alex Crewe and Strategy Director Jane Nelson to help deliver a smooth and efficient transaction. The team led the drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents for Cardo, advising on all corporate, commercial, employment and commercial property matters.
Emma Borrington, Corporate Partner, led the deal for Berry Smith. Other key members of the team were Ellen Lewis (Corporate Finance), Michael Shutt (Employment) and Leanne Nixon (Commercial Property).
