Berry Smith is delighted to have advised Angie Beasley on the purchase of Ceaton Security Services Limited from Deane Ceaton.
Ceaton, established in 1991 by brothers Gordon and Deane Ceaton based in Cardiff, has grown today to be highly reputable and well respected in the security industry. Ceaton specialise in the design, installation, service and maintenance of fire detection, security & CCTV, access control systems, automation systems and passive fire protection and work with commercial clients including the likes of Principality Stadium, Welsh Government, Rail Networks, Military clients, and Facilities Management companies such as Amey, Integral, Equans and Mitie.
Berry Smith worked closely with Angie who has run Ceaton for the last few years since Deane’s retirement in 2018, throughout the transaction to complete the succession plans and to help deliver a smooth transaction. The purchase will enable the legacy that Deane has created to continue to expand in the security industry
Emma Borrington, Corporate Partner, led the deal for Berry Smith. Other key members of the Berry Smith team who worked on the transaction were Jacob Sims (Corporate Finance).
